Tasty Treats

It was a good Summer for Plums this year.   First picture is some Wild Plums (Prunus americana)



Second picture is Canada Plum (Prunus nigra)

Are they the ones with real sweet flesh but the skins a so bitter that you almost(almost) have to spit them out ;)

Our plumbs come in a lot earlier, the birds and squirrels always seem to clean most of mine up before I get many. >:(  Looks like you have a very good crop. :)

We didn't get many this year :(
There was a glut last year and they made some nice fruity wine.

Sometimes the Raccoons get to them and pretty well clean them out but so far I am beating them to it.  Don't drink so all of mine are consumed, keeps me regular  :)
