Beautiful work, from the lines to the skins.  And those tips are pretty unique/rad.

Very nice work. I've always liked the 5 curve designs but have never built one. I've been watching your work for some time now and I have to say, you seem to have really defined your style with the bows you've been building. Simple selfbows, finely executed. I'm genuinely impressed.

Keep it up.

stickbender -   I did weigh the sinew bundles back when I sinewed the bow, I believe around 3 oz.
Tree ninja -  I havent been to Winter Harbour area yet, one day! Been to Cape Scott though, so cool and creepy up northern island.
DC - 36 bows altogether, although I only number the ones that cut the mustard and make it to finishing stages. '
Bow101 - I shoot 100-200 arrows through my bows before I send them off. I also begin shooting in my bows when they are not yet at full draw, the bow can tell you alot at that stage. If you are getting excessive set / string follow, its either wood related, or design and execution related.
If your asking about this bow in particular, it has shot well over a few hundred arrows, before these pictures were taken. Sinew backed yew has its reputation for a reason ;)
Hope to see you BC boys at the gathering in Sept

Always enjoy seeing your bows in wonderful surroundings, but I have to say , this is the first time looking at your posts that I didn't notice the awesome scenery. Not until reading other posts mentioning it... I had to go back and look. The bow is stealing the show!
