Finished bamboo backed osage tri lam
« on: August 16, 2016, 01:44:39 pm »
Finished this one up today. Bamboo back, 1/16 maple lam, and an osage core. Handle is hickory and walnut, and tips are maple, walnut and horn. James Parker/JD Jones inspired dye job.

Kinda looks a little squirrelly since I glued it up with even limbs but spaced and cut the lower limb shorter so it has less reflex than the upper. I would be more bothered by it but the bow shoots great.

48# at 28" 63"ntn.

Beautiful shape and I really like the stain job on the back(more info please :D) I'm not a big fan of the layers but you did a great job on it.
