Will heat improve it?
« on: August 12, 2016, 03:14:56 pm »
I've been saving this really nice spall of novaculite for something special. I know it doesn't have to be heat treated but can I cook it and would it improve it? Any recipes? Thanks

You may be right Eddie I have no idea it was sent to me from my cousin. The white stuff looks pretty slick but the translucent stuff looks slightly steppy.

If it don't act like a Princes on her wedding night
you may just have to warm it up a bit too,

Probably already cooked, but if you want go to 650-800 range.  You need kiln or fire pit
