2016 MoJam bow for a friend
« on: August 01, 2016, 08:04:56 pm »
I made this bow at MoJam this year and finished up at home.
Thanks Pat and Dave and all.
I had a blast
Osage with persimmon tips and handle filler.
This is a belly stave and some of the handle had to be built up so I glued on some Persimmon
1-3/16" wide 1/4 to 5/16" at the tips
68" NTN
48@28

It has a old crack in the fade, It never opened up any but I wrapped some serving around anyway.
Pat gave me some Hackberry bark to wrap the handle. I like the look

Like it! Front profile is elegant . . . just amazing how ya can get so much weight from so little osage.

A beauty of a bow. Great lines and that hackberry handle wrap really looks good.

Cool bow, Mark.
