Thanks a bunch Rich.  I never thought about the distribution of poundage an the tips that way before. That,  and I was kinda making sure that you had thought about the possibility of that happening.

Fellas,
     Got the bellies smoothed off and the skins on with first coat of sealer.....tomorrow I can finish the skins, grease and wax the exposed wood, and hopefully bind the two together.....in the meantime here are some progress pics.

Dang Rich those belly scallops are too cool. They make that bow come alive along with the skins.

Fellas,
     Got the bow greased and waxed, and tied together. The hemp wrap is not the final grip area look. The bow will have a temporary artificial sinew string set. I want to make sure there is enough linen for the other 3 bows first....will then replace the AS.
   Here are the pics till it's finished. The grip area will get fancied up, the belly side of the tips will get some attention and then will post finished pics.....hopefully the saw parts will arrive by then.

Jon, no sir !!! this has to be some of the nicest bow wood I have seen....perfect growth rings, red streaked, wood rings like a bell....so no sir I'm stickin with the wood and the friends I got >:D >:D >:D By the way, did I thank you for this stuff? No ? guess I'll just have to send some of it back to ya 8)
