thanks guys for the positive comments, to tell you the truth, I hadn't done one like that in quite a while, I felt a bit rusty,, I started on the handle that I could cover with leather just to get loosened up,, so your comments are quite inspiring,, and I hope to finish it up soon,,
Badly Bent, I am pretty sure that is my bow you are speaking of in the PA,,if you do find it let me know what the date is,,, maybe I can order a copy,, I don't know if they go that far back
Aaron, yes it is pen and ink,, it is an art pen called Micron and it is the 05 size,, it says the ink is archival,,
good eye Simson,, you are right ,,vignette toward the tips would look very nice,, and I could probably do a bit of that at this point in the process,,again thanks to everyone that commented,, if you have any technical questions as to mediums and such, I am pleased to share any detail that might help you with a similar project,,
Stick Bender,,, I have come to favor that handle, mild taper,, it gives me the option to make the bow bend in the handle or not,, depending on how deep I leave it,, and they shoot well for me,, it gives the bow an overall graceful appearance,,
