Silver River Knapp-In, 2016 (pic heavy)

Well is was a really good weekend.  The event is held at a really spectacular place.  Just beautiful.  Silver Springs feeds the river and its a place worth visiting.  The museum there is tremendous.  Ya'll would really enjoy it.  We were lucky enough to have it opened up to us Saturday night after hours...night at the museum.  I'm glad the ground sloth didn't come alive!  The artifact collection is truly something worth seeing.  Bonepile and I had a good time goofing around.  We knapped Saturday and Sunday with Claude Van Order (pictured).  Lots of fun stuff to do from the tomahawk/atlatl throwing and the venders had lots of great rock.  Took a run down to the river yesterday morning and the steam was rising off the water in the cold morning.  Just beautiful.

I missed it last year too. It really is a great meet
and the museum is cool. Glad you had a good time.
I'll be shooting for Sopchoppy next weekend.
I have never made that one.
