Well I hope he likes it.Been shooting it some again.Stump shooting.If I don't watch it I'll be the first to spill blood with it on a bunny or some other rodent.Love to see a ground hog.....lol.Seen a big snapper in the pond too.Anyone shot one of those yet?
Reducing the tips on it was revealing.Weighed it before and afterwards.I took off over 1/4 ounce off the last 10" of each tip.That's over 200 grains total without losing any reflex at all.Shoots pretty darn sweet now.Still a very light thump after release but I think that's accountable for the very small handle it's got.

Usually my handles are a bulbous type like Dean Torges style.Something that feels right.Around 1 and 1/8" at it's widest.

Well fellas this bow for my victim is ready.Shot in and done.Resting with 2" of flex and spits em pretty decent.I gave him the max on his draw weight at his draw length so he should have fun.Now in case he is'nt at Mojam I've got an old carpet roll card board tube to send it in.Is there any other slick way of sending these bows?

pvc is very durable..throw some foam on either end for padding.  Cap on one end and a threaded cap on the other.

That is true,  I use a drain wast pipe. Still pvc but it weighs half as much and it's thinner. But don't worry Ed,  I'll be there on Sunday! Probably be the first one on site again this year.

I use solid leach line pipe like ajooter said $8 gets you ten ft just cut a thin pc of ply and tape on the ends.

I have been meaning to do a similar measurement, but it always occurs to me after I have done the scraping 

Glad you did it.  200 grains, so 100 grains each outer limb?  Was it Tim Baker that did some tests and equated 65 grains at the tip equals 1 fps bow cast difference?  Or was it more than 1 fps?

And beautiful bows by the way.  Love the handle shape.

I have found that building a crate out of 1/4 " plywood and 1x2 is the best way for me against the postal gorillas. Arvin

I got final-ish tiller done on my trade bow last week at Marshall.  Shot the short course with it and it even managed to hit a few targets despite the guy that was drawing it back! 

Here's a question for y'all...  I have this bow about shot in at my draw length, but my guy shoots a bit longer draw length than I do.  How do you go about shooting the bow in under such circumstances?  I've worked it on my wall mounted tillering tree, but that is not the same thing - as you know...

No pictures just yet, ...but I'll get ya some soon.  Trying to decide on how to dress her up pretty next...
