My first attempt is virtually complete except for more shooting and a finish. She is "Skinny Mini", she pulls right inside the lower range for my recipient. She is 60"t/t, about 3/4" at her widest, has one sapwood layer on the back and shoots well. Here are a few pics...

...and my second choice. This is a special stave. It was one that belonged to Tom Brennan(TomB), the last one I have I think. Many here on PA knew Tom. Tom passed away a few years ago from a brain tumor. His son Patrick give me most of Tom's staves after his Death and I in turn shared them with many of Tom's friends.
This stave is 64"t/t but has a fork at one end. I think I can follow the main trunk though. It also has a few knots, pins and a heck of a reflex and twist at one end. The rings are nice. I spent all day yesterday removing bark and sapwood and getting down to one good ring for the back. Here she is...
