Got a couple options opened up. The first is a streaky Osage that is still a little green. Probably should get some hot box time before going any further with it.



The second is a nicely seasoned stick that has a little more character to it.




Both will be brought along until theyre shootin before making a decision. There's a good chance I'm gonna see my victim at one of the summer events this year so I have my timeline.

Got my name,thank's! I don't usually build much in the winter but I think the excitement will get the better of me!lost my stave pile to fungus last. Summer,not sure if all is lost?got some feelers out if need be for some wood.

  Well, I drew one of those guys who will be very hard to impress. I found an extra large honeysuckle stave I will be cutting tomorrow, not too many of these in circulation. I will have a back up ready just in case I can't get it dried in time.
