I think I'm going to call this one a bow.  The tiller isn't perfect but with the woo-dee-doos and rollercoaster twists, I don't think I can get it any better.  I shot her a few times today and she shot great considering I haven't shot a bow since Oct. So, it's time to dress her up.
Sorry, I just remembered that I forgot to take an unbraced picture.  grr  I'll do that tomorrow.

The bow looks great Dave.  The only rifle I have is a 22.

Thanks guys.

Clint, I'm think I remember that Indiana is one of those non-centerfire rifle deer season states?  Didn't they just started allowing straight wall pistol cartridges in a rifle format?  If both answers are yes, you need to shoot my Rossi model 92 lever action rifles.  I have a .357 and 45 Colt.  But, bring your .22, also.

I shot the bow a little more today after I worked the handle down.  It had some hand shock, so I'll reduce the tip area a bit more.  But, man is it accurate.  It's gotta be the bow, because I'm so out of practice. I was consistently putting 2 of 3 arrows in the 9-10 ring at 15 yards.  The third arrow was still in the kill zone.

Nice looking bow Dave !

The lady that does the shirts isn't doing shirts anymore. I'm checking with the business that does our archery shirts at school and see if she can get it done. I'll let you know if it works out.

Your bow looks good Dave. I put the first 25 arrows through mine this evening. Probably thaw out the deer roast for vegi soup on Tuesday, cook Wednesday and then put in fridge till Fri. Everyone knows soups and chillies are better the next day. Looking forward to meeting everyone again. Joe

Dave, I got lucky on your list for lunch on Sat. And unlucky that I have to work Fri. Don't know how long, might try and book down when I get off. If not I will be there Sat morning. Joe.

I took a vacation day, so I'll be up Friday morning sometime. I have an old plinker  .22 that I shot at Dave's rifle shoot. It will have to suffice. I have a few raw beaver furs if anyone needs one. I rounded up a couple nearly complete projects to scrape on in the bow shop. Can't wait!

Next Friday can't get here soon enough.  It's been a long time since I've spent some quality time in a bow shop with friends.  I was thinking about trying to find an ash tree that isn't ate up with borers to cut and bring down.  I figure it will be hard to find ash staves in a few years.

If anyone has any good looking wood board pieces (walnut, cherry, coffee tree, etc) 1 1/2" by 4" by 4" or larger, I'd be willing to to do some trading.

Greg,
I've got some walnut that might work, I'll bring it.  What grain orientation do you need?
