Here are the only pictures I got of them side by side. A shame really, considering all of the work to make them matched.

My 5 year old son took this photo:
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

Beautiful.  Ideal in every way.   I agree about the overlays.  That project would have taken me 6 months.

It took me 14 months :)... about 10 of those were mental preparation months.

More and more, I like a good self nock.

I have to give credit to Aaron H (Falcon) for the inspiration on the pin nocks. I had simple little pin nocks and couldnt see a way to make them look a little fancier while keeping them simple and functional. Then I saw his osage pin nocks in PA magazine on his July self Bow of the Month. Thanks Aaron.  :)

Thanks for all of the very nice comments gentlemen. It really is a great feeling to get the nod of approval from bowyers I have long admired.
