"Oh! What a beautiful mornin"

Lol pics speak louder than words. ;)
Time in the woods about forty lovely
minuets. Calm winds, perfect temperature
and the smell of jerky in the air. ???
Flawless firearm performance and
a very willing target, >:D

Thanks fellas :)
Sometimes I feel a little guilty but I get over it
when my son in Arizona asks for more jerky. ;)
And when folks want another steak or burger.  :o

Nice one Zuma, heard you make a heck of a deer burger. What are the specs on your firearm?

Lol :)
Tom, the one in the photo is a Rem 870
It's really my blind gun for waterfowl.
I have used it for pheasant in ND but it's
to darn heavy.
I only shoot deer with a .270 Savage,
sometimes at long distances.
I sold my 30-06 and .243 years back.
I use the shot gun to track in the dense cedars
in case a downed deer gets up. That hasn't
happened yet but I am getting older and shakier.
Better safe than sorry.
Thanks Zuma

Our opener for rifle season is this Monday. My boy will be carrying a 1958 Mel 94 32 special gifted to us last year from a family member who has cancer and wanted to pass it on to someone who will use it.
