If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I would like to get into knife making but am not to the point where I could forge a blade (general lack of a forge). My main question was what you think the quality of some of the Damascus blanks you see online? Thanks

I'm not a black smith nor do I have a forge.I'm into a lot of things just not being a blacksmith.I got my blank from Track of the Wolf. It's a good blade.Holds an edge quite a while properly used. It's the only one I've tried so can't comment on any more.

You should get quite a choice from them.

Good design and size.  A guy can do field work with that thing. Anything from slicing an apple to field dressing any game animal in North America!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

I looked at the TOW site but no luck on that Damascus blank. Shucks! I really love that knife and sheath.
