My humble submissions

Didn't really have any theme with these, just kinda all over the place. I'm really pleased with the free hand Clovis points.

God Bless!

Wow some nice stuff. What is the stone the free hand Clovis is made from?

excellent materials + top notch knapping.

that shallow depth of field is giving the illusion of a bent blade. is it in fact straight?

Thanks guys.

Leon, if you're talking about the cloudy obsidian blade it is perfectly straight.

Tom the first Clovis is made from Burlington chert. It is a little grainy, but works very well. The other Clovis is out of rainbow obsidian. I had set it up to flute on my jig but wasn't happy with the results. So I went for broke and took 2 quick whacks per side and ended up with a better job of it.

I have been waiting for ten min. for your photos to down load? :(
They will eventually I'm sure. I am sure the points are terrific cause of the
other comments, :)
What I like is the walk on the wild side (hand fluting). ??? I have lost a lot of
nice blades in the past doing it.  :(I seldom loose them lately and love the
thrill when you unwrap and find that flake you made happen. :) And of course
a still complete biface :)

Quality work right there!
There are no bad knappers, only bad flakes
