Image hosting sites

I frequently use http://imgur.com but http://postimage.org seems better. More minimalistic?
Also, why do a lot of old pics appear as deleted by admin? :(

The older pictures were attached as files.  Once the sites storage limit was reached any new picture attached deletes the oldest picture. 
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

postimage seems really slow right now... can't say that imgur won't stop existing some day either. Dropbox and google drive could be viable alternatives.

There are no backups of the older pictures? If there are, it should be possible to recover them. might be a little involved though
