Does anyone else chase acorns in the early season hoping a nice deer will come by?

Deer love the big acorns that come off of the tress down in the swamp where I hunt, TONS of deer sign, haven't hunted there this year but hope too!

When acorns are sparse a producing white oak is a good place to hunt. It will bring deer from far away.

The Farm I hunt here in Mid-Michigan is very thin of Acorns, but loaded with Beeches. The Deer really pound the Beech nuts when there's a good crop. Bob

I've been hitting up both acorns and beech nuts. They just cut the corn the other day so the deer have disappeared. So I gotta figure out where they went!
