*(funny side note... both my sons ages 28 and 21 have been warned...   grankids will be given cuban coffee *(think strong expresso) redbull and either a kitten or a puppy with every visit... lol...)

Rylie was at the house this eve. But she spent most of time doin' homework ... and watching The Walking Dead with me.
We did squeeze in a bit of work time and glued snakeskin fabric backing on. But I forgot to take pics ... bad papa!

Glue was still very wet when her mom insisted they needed to go home. She was concerned that pattern would never show through the glue.

She wants to go to her 1st 3D shoot next Sunday. She has lots to get accomplished this week if she's gonna shoot the new bow. Think she'll get 'er done??

It's cool if this lil tale inspires other projects out there.

Bit of work with utility knife, file, and sandpaper cleaned up the backing nicely.



Two coats of tung oil are now on the stick. One more to go.
