For my grandson Xaver
Hi all,  I decided to build a bow for my grandson for his second birthday ;), so he can remember whenever: my Grandpa made something only for me. Today we`ve done some shoots, he looked very happy and he had gleaming eyes.
Measurements: TtT  106cm [~42“], NtN 103,5cm [~41“] draw- weight 10# at 13“, width at fade 30mm,  finished with 6 layers danish oil. Overlays: buffolo horn.
Thanks for looking and comments, enjoy

That is wonderful Hans! He will be able to shoot that bow for at least another 4-5 years. Good job großvater!

Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Very nice set-up, and the bow itself is top notch! One of the lucky kids!
"The bow is the old first lyre,
the mono chord, the initial rune of fine art
The humanities grew out from archery as a flower from a seed
No sooner did the soft, sweet note of the bow-string charm the ear of genius than music was born, and from music came poetry and painting and..." Maurice Thompso

Ahh, Hans nice to see you here again my friend. You did a good job on this lil bow, I know it's the same work like making an adult bow.

That last pic says it all - grandson and grandpa happy together.

Fantastic curves! Way to go, Pops!!!

Hans, That is really nice. That will be something your Grandson can pass down to his Grandsons'.
