Damascus steel knives
« on: August 05, 2015, 08:24:34 pm »
I have a friend who makes these. He forges his own steel. 1095 and 15n20 are his alloys.  280 layers rockwell of 58. I will post pics soon. My friend is an older retired fellow who makes what he wants to make if and when he wants to make it. So, much to the frustration of many, he doesnt do custom orders.

I have been selling his knives for about a year as a vendor at gunshows. He always makes good quality knives and holds an honest replacement warranty for any defects. I know his work and his ethics. I will be putting a paid add in the magazine soon ( as I figure out how that is ) but for now, all trades are to be discussed through email.

There are a few on this site that own one of his knives already and more that have seen them.

I will have to say that these are amazing knives. I have owned one for some time. They take an amazing edge and hold it! I love it and play on obtaining some more! Here is a pic of my personal knife. Patrick
