Just talked to Chamookman (Bob).  We're on for going fishing this weekend!  Yay!  I'm Soooo excited!  As promised, here's a pic of my yak.  Just dusted her off and installed a rod holder for trolling.  Can't wait!

Cool kayak Matt. Is it a hard shell or soft shell?

Nice job Matt.  That looks like it would glide through the water with ease.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

It does slip through the water.  Hardly know it's beneath you.  It's about 50 pounds, I'd guess.

The kayak is hard sided.  I made it from marine plywood wrapped in glass.  Stitch & Glue method.  Plans I bought from Chesapeake Light Craft.

Thanks for the compliments!

Matt, Steve Davis and Myself were on the Lake early Saturday Morning. Matt & I in Kayacs , Steve rowing a small cartopper. A few Bass & Panfish were caught and Fun had by all. As the sun rose, so did the temps and the fish catching fell off. Was GREAT to share the Outdoors with two Dear Friends again. Matt did take some Pics with His phone - don't know if He'll be able to post or not. Bob
