50" osage bendy
« on: June 30, 2015, 01:02:56 pm »
All finished up. 49" ntn deerhide backed osage. 45# at 25" cocobolo tip overlays and handle built up with saddle leather back and belly. Had some propeller twist in the stave which I just ignored and left as it was. Took surprisingly little set while tillering. A very fun bow to shoot.

Thanks again for the stave Paul!

You sure that's not bocote on those tips?

Sharp looking shortie, I love making them like that ;D No wasted wood in that thing!

Mollegabets all day long.
Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.

Thanks guys!

huisme: Could be...I bought all these exotic boards like 10 years ago and since they aren't labeled they are subject to guessing at times. Haha. You are probably right.
