Never go hunting with JW_Halverson
« on: June 13, 2015, 08:24:00 pm »
I was treated like garbage.  These men on JW's turkey hunt attacked me with snowballs, tripped me up with bolos and I even took an arrow to the knee.   >:D  Below is video proof  >:D  >:D  >:D  >:D  >:D

Florida to Kwajalein to Turkey and back in Florida again.  Good to be home but man was that an adventure!

Good chuckle!!
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

Doesn't sound like you went hunting with them.
More like they went hunting for you.
Kinda like cowboys and cracker.

Very funny! Almost a "hold my beer and watch this!"  moment. Patrick

I watched that video a few days ago on your you tube channel along with the rest of your trip.  I got a real kick out of this video.  Looked like a good time.  JW invited my son and I turkey hunting in SD next spring.  Now I think maybe he is just looking for some fresh meat to hunt. 🍗🍗😀

Don't worry, Swampy, you son is safe.   You?  Making no promises here.

Tim escaped before we got him into what he called "a boiling cauldron" but what was in reality just a bubblebath.

All things considered, Tim may have been the smartest people there.  He slept in his vehicle away from all the monumental snoring and often slept away thru the rainy weather while the rest of us busted butts in the rain and fog chasing each other thinking the other guys were turkeys.

Go back and watch the video again for the Flintstones "clapper" at the beginning of each "take".  That was Iowabow's contribution.

Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

I did watch it again and enjoyed the video even more. The "clacker" was great.  I have to say I could live with the bolo coming at me, but a bow and arrow?  That scares me even with a blunt tip and slow arrow.

Hunting Tims....way more fun!  and you don't need a tag to tag one. The season is always open and I recommend that if you sight a Primitive Tim that you give it a shot or two like I did.
