finally got my bow i started last year finished. this one i had posted pics of crappy glue up on the backing and was so disappointed i sat on it for months trying to decide to fix or scrap it. knowing that i couldn't hurt it anymore than it was, i took all the feed back from you all and went to work. i popped off the backing using my heat gun (which was no small task) and sanded both pieces down. i got lucky with my belt sander which i wont be doing again - made me too nervous. then re-glued the backing using inner tubes instead of clamps which worked so much better in the end. i am so happy i didn't give up on this one because it turned out so much better than i had hoped. this one is going to my army buddy who this last year had got into bow hunting with me for his birthday. i hope he likes it as much as i do.
