It's been a few years since I was home for Memorial Day.  Glad was able to make this one.

That VFW stuff just busts me right up. Nice pics Mike, glad you got a chance to be "home" again.

Nice pictures Mike. I'm fortunate to be able to go to my hometown parade and ceremony every year. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't recognize a single person, place, or anything, but it felt just like home to me.  Not enough difference in your parade in your home town from my home town parades in North Dakota where I grew up.

Sadly, that home town for me only exists in my memory.  The oil patch boom has pretty well fixed that.  I guess that is why I was so moved by your photos.  Small town America is a wonderful thing, a very wonderful thing.

Great pics Mike. I grew up in a town so small there never was a parade but those pictures remind me of neighboring small towns that were big enough to have parades just like yours.

I had an uncle that lived just south of there. Lots of good childhood memories in and around Bremen!

We all have our big dreams, but actually it doesn't get any better than that. Living among good people is the finest thing there is.
