Falcon, Sidewinder and Vinemaplebows, thanks guys for the replies  :)

As I said before it was a learning experience for me in many ways thanks to Rich. The thing I found so interesting was the amount of set the bow took after all the stress. As you can see in the pics the 27" sinewed picture and "half eye's" picture look almost exact in measurement. I applied one layer of sinew just for protection...I know the sinew played a part in this but I have to think the quarter sawed Elm done the trick also. Not saying quarter sawn is superior just that it has to be tough as nails with no chrysals and 400+ arrows out of her, just something to consider. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it...Forgot to mention there was no heat treatment or tempering at any time...

Nice bow Don. You know what Quwigly said about pistols. I said I never had much use for em, never said I didn't know how to use em. I'm thinking you'll find a use for that pistol and I'm sure you'll figure out how to use it.

   I did BJ...This ain't Dodge City and you ain't Bill Hickock...Great movie! Never said I couldn't use one...................Quwigly had some real balance...Lol

Rich put one hell of a bend on them circular working parts, I just added gunpowder...

That's one wicked looking bow. I'm always impressed with Rich's bows, he tends to venture places where others wouldn't.
