Nice bow rich. I like attacking a stave not caring what will happen because it was questionable to start, and ending up with a shooter like that.

  Thats my second favorite color.

The first is yellow sang as it dies.

Sweet little bow. Looks like it be a good job as always.

This was the perfect now at at a perfect time! Just had a sapling split on me in an inconvenient spot and was momentarily worried it wouldn't make a bow. After some helpful words from the community and x2 after seeing this bow, I'm completely confident it'll work out. Awesome work. Super cool to see a hunting weight shooter come out of that little thing.

Thank you Mr. Arrow...appreciate your opinion

Make, This piece was dried with the back sealed, and when it was split looks like pieces went everywhere, this is what come out. There was not enough thickness to work the back so it still has some sap wood and plenty of gouges. If it helps I originally had a piece 51" but the bow was only in the high 30# range so I piked it to just a smidge under 48 ntn and got the weight up to the 43 @ full draw. If I wanted maybe 24-25 draw and piked an inch or two more I'm sure it would go to the high 40's maybe 50. I just like it like it is though. Dont throw nothin away 8) 8)

thanks again fellas

Nice save Rich. I think one of the bowyer commandments is Thou shall not let any osage go to waste until Thou has made every effort to get a bow out of it. ;)

Thank you Matt, that dogleg, squiggle in the top limb about ate my lunch so the upper looks a tad "off" but she does shoot well.

That little scrap turned out great!  I have a stave or two laying around my shop that have your name on them.  It sure doesn't take much osage to make a bow....  :D ::) heard that before eh?

Amazing!!!  That much function out of so little wood makes it better than "fine" Sir.
