In need of copperhead skins!
« on: February 23, 2015, 07:08:20 pm »
Ok guy's, does anybody have any matched copperhead skins at least 30" long? I need enough to back a full bow that is 60" ntn. Let me know what you need. I don't have a lot of stuff to trade but I'm sure we could figure out a deal. Thanks, Patrick

Ooo boy, you've set a task before yourself! Hard enough to get these guys to hand over any snake skin, but your askin for the best of best! For a little comparative sake, I've got a set. Just exactly what you're askin for. 30 inches long, perfectly matched, no holes and incredible color. I received this set several years ago and had to promise I'd never get rid of it. It came as a gift and I'll probably never see another set like it.

I say good luck to ya! Sure, they are out there and you well may be fortunate enough to get your hands on one. But, like as not, you'll have to make a pretty nice trade for it, so get set.

Happy tradin!

try looking at the ones from Three Rivers, printed on cloth, i believe it is linen, the copperhead looks more real than the diamond back.

I'm with you stringman I'm actually trying to find these for a very close friend. I told him that getting these would be more like milking a bull! This is what he wants, he did mention that he would possibly be interested in some exotics. Patrick

Scott, those sound like some Flint Walker skins. He's about the only person I know that gets them that big.

Just checked mine. No dice. Barely 16 long. Not even my velvet tails are that long. This spring/summer im going snake hunting. Wanna come? You can stay at my place while we hunt, and maybe even squeeze in some bass fishing. Bound to get a bite or get bit one way or the other :D.
