2 Strunk Bows

A few weeks ago me and my wife had the pleasure of doing a weekend build with John Strunk. It was pretty cool hearing his stories and opinions, seeing his bows on the wall and seeing what he's been working on. John and his wife Pat a good people, and we had a blast. I found a beauty deflexed yew stave in his pile with thin sapwood, tight rings and nice colour. I went with a self yew recurve, and my wife went with a boo backed yew longbow. Mine ended up as 60" 54#@26", and hers is 65" 40#@25".
Pics were taken at Oceanside Oregon where we stayed, except for the tip overlay shots. We did those at home.
Thanks for lookin, cheers! Ryan
John suggested I name my bow Snaggletooth, this snag ripped my jeans so its a pretty suiting name
excuse me, I know Im flyin low here hehe
