So I piked one end 1/4" and recut the side nock on the other side.  It seems to fix the twist quite well.  I'll recheck the tiller and then all that's left is to decide on a grip and other cosmetics.

Time is drawing near. How about a quick update from those of us who haven't shipped? Mine is ready, just need to send it east.

Mine is on the short string, just need to get another bow shipped before I return my focus to the trade bow.

Mollegabets all day long.
Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.

I have Plan A ready for some coats of oil. It might end up 1" short on the draw length (could probably draw to full but I can't necessarily recommend it for durability sake) but otherwise its looking quite nice. I'll have it finished and shipped before the end of the month.

I worked this bow a bit before sending, but this is what it looked like at 26" draw and with some weight to lose.

The bow and I both needed to lose some weight, at that point.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad new but the bow that Chadwick sent me has had both tips broken in the mail. You just hadn't put anywhere near enough foam in the tube to protect it, it has been sliding up and down the tube and because the horn overlays extended past the ends of the wood then they have been taking all the force. They have both sheared off, one has split along the rings into the limb so it's a write off i'm afraid. I've been sending bows internationally for while now and have learnt the hard way - you must stuff the tube with foam, bubblewrap etc or else chances are than the bow WILL be damaged. These guys just do not care in the slightest about the packages that go through their hands. It is also nigh on impossible for you to get your money back once the bow does get broken...again i've learnt the hard way!
When it arrived I was also asked to pay £109.10 ($170) import duty because on the export label you had written that it was sold for $600.....Just a heads up to fellow people sending stuff abroad - say that it is a gift not a purchase. Fortunately I paid with a cheque so have cancelled it with the bank.
