I've done way more painted bows than I care to admit, could bore you with multiple pictures but I won't.
Here are a few though.
Keep in mind that these designs are copyrighted smoke so you can't duplicate them. ;D ;D ;D ;D
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.

Badly Bent- I always enjoy seeing your bows for a number of reasons, one of those being your limb art.

Adams & Bubby, I like! Those are pretty. I've made a ton of non-decorated bows. What would be good for my lovely bride?

My guess would be anything that you made her that had a personal touch

The planning stages of my first attempt to paint a bow.  I'm not great at conceptualizing knots so the loops don't weave into each other as much as they could.

The first limb took 2.5 hours, the second limb took 20 minutes...easier ones I had something to go off of.  I've noticed a lot of similarities between scandinavian art and native american art, so I incorporated an element I know exists in native american art.  In a lot of N.A. rugs, the pattern is a mirror, but not perfectly symetrical or identical.  There is always something that makes it a little off.  Different color, slightly different proportion, etc etc.  So in that fashion, I made the patterns on each limb similar but different.
