Working on #3, #2 joined #1 in breaks villa lol, so both
Limbs are pretty close in tiller and both limbs thickness is relitivley
even in thickness, but one limb has a touch of twist. Should
I try to steam or dry heat straight before continuing tiller in
or just ignore a little twist and proceed?

If it's not too bad ignore it, but make sure you're flipping the bow on the tiller tree to see both sides or things can get funky.

+ 1!!  Prop twist makes a bow look totally different on the tiller tree when viewed from different sides.  If I leave the twist in the limbs, I won't tiller so much on the tree as I do in my hand.

Don't know if it matters but since my untrained eye can't see things as well
as I'd like and my last bow came in a little under weight I am using
a 6 inch long 1x1 with a hole drilled in the middle, 5/16 corse thread
nut and pencil screwed in to at least get tiller right at brace.
Limbs are too thick to get a string on right now, probably have
another 45 min of bend and scrape ahead of me before a string can be put on...

Figured while there is plenty of meat, maybe I should figure out my game plan. ...

If you are sort of new to this bow building stuff, I would try to start with clean and straight staves till you get a few bows under your belt - maybe take that twist out completely with a little heat before you start tillering.

Good advice above...just to add. Prop twist is when one limb twists one way and the other limb twists the other way.

It does not sound like what you have is a prop twist.

If you caused the twist that you have then remove it by removing wood from the high side...the side that does not twist.

If the twist is in the stave naturally and it is not too much (30 degrees or more) then leave it.

The twist was always there and it's at most 10 deg,
I will add a bit of heat and clamp to a straight edge..

What kind of wood is it?

i work mostly with osage, there is usually some twist etc,,
keep the taper even on both sides and it will shoot fine
if you want to straighten you can,,, but it wont make the bow shoot better
if you are going to make a recurve then a different approach may be needed

Bow is white oak, looks like I will have 20-30 more before I run out lol...

So hit it withe the heat gun, twist came right out...
