I'm with Asharrow.  I hate wide handles, admittedly, but I would have had to go 2" longer, stiffened the handle, and added at least 3/8" width to get that weight out of a similar limb design.

Don't you love how elm (except for red elm) basically looks like nothing special, until you slap that dye on,a and suddenly, "Oooooooo, that's pretty!"

Reread. My original post,i meant 1-3/8 @ the handle and the bow is 1-1/8" at the midlimb,hope that makes more sense.Rob
