I like it.  That's a perfect hunting bow.  I'd look at the pictures more but your so scary looking  it's a good thing I know that your not actually an axe murder.   But really great bow.  My next bow will be an elm.  Thanks for the inspiration.

Your bow's super power is that it can be drawn to 28"....once.  Just like my super power is to be able to stop a bullet....once.

Now if I could read any of your posts without the song "Thunder" by AC/DC going thru my head. Then again, maybe that is appropriate theme music for your lightening bolt throwing bows!

Another great looking bow thunder.  Are you heat treating your elm?

Thanks and yes, I get them just short of my full draw and heat treat them. Then I usually have to retiller to get the weight back down to something more usable. I'm not very technical about it though.

Not yet, I've got the belly as flat as possible trying to avoid that, and I've only put about 150 full draw shots through it...so we'll see what happens
