bendy osage
« on: November 11, 2014, 12:17:20 pm »
Just a silver of osage,7/8" wide in the handle area, flaring out to 1-1/8" at the mids then down to pointy tips.i heated the profile to have a mild r/d look in order take a bit of stress off of the middle because it was so scary narrow. 62"ttt,56# @ 27".yes it doesn't take much hedge to make a bow.the wood came from Kansas thx's danny!

Way to turn that splinter into a hunter, BB. It sure doesn't take much osage to make a good hunting weight bow.

That is a real nice bow for just a sliver of Osage. By the way what is that white stuff on the ground. Thanks for sharing.

Looks good bushy, your tips are nicely done. Tiller is spot on to.

Very nice, working on a toothpick myself! What is the brace height on that one? Patrick
