I think I'm going to attempt dirtydans camo finish. Does any have any pointers? Will this work with a rawhide backing? Patrick

Thanks Bobby! I'm going to give it a shot as soon as I get the handle section done and some dye purchased. Patrick

Ok, I have a buddy that makes and sells alcohol based dye for Bowyer's. I'm thinking that will be good stuff, because it dries really quick. And I'm kinda impatient. Patrick

Unless you just like the look the camo isn't really necessary, the link to the camoed bows was impressive though.
I have hunted the most wary deer in the country, sometimes with a bright yellow osage bow just off the bench and was never spotted.

Thanks Eric, I'm OK with the yellow Osage! But I also have a big white streak of rawhide on the back and a built up handle of rawhide as well. Besides I love the camo finish and it was part of the original plan for this bow as well. I'll post some pictures of the before and after. And maybe a few during the process. Patrick

That looks good. Maybe if I do that to my face I'll quit getting busted by the long nose does.
