for Sarah
« on: November 06, 2014, 04:47:42 pm »
A friend at work asked me to make a bow for his best friends daughter. I picked a stave that had split kind of bad.
The top limb profile is just how it split from fade to tip. Only thing i did was square up the edges and then try to match the profile on the other limb. Fades are 1 3/8" fairly straight taper to just under 3/8" tips.62" t2t 40#@27"
Deer antler tip overlays. I hope she likes it.

I love those dead straight unstrung profiles 8) The handle work is extra sweet, nice work. I'm sure Sarah will smile for a while...

Very cool little bow! I really like the way you did the handle wrap over the shelf! Nicely done! She should love it! Patrick
