Scat...who done it?
« on: November 01, 2014, 10:28:45 am »
On our walk this morning I found this scat in the middle of the driveway. The odd thing about it is it was covered with loose grass, not digested but loose, freshly pulled grass. The scat looks like canine of some sort but the grass covering is odd. We found a pile a month or so back that was the same but disregarded it. Anyone ever seen this or have any ideas about it.  I was looking for our scat ID book but can't locate it. Here is a pic of what we found this morning...

I think baby Sasquatch is about right also.
Now, all you need is a known Sasquatch diet
and you then can dissect the poop like owl pellets
to prove depositors identity.

my german shepherd will eat pine needles once in a while for some odd reason. The pine needles come out and they look just like they did when they went in. Never seen grass come out looking that fresh though

My dogs eats grass all the time and digested grass doesn't look like this. This grass was collected after the poo hit the ground and added. The poo looks like from carnivore because of hair in it but no bone or seeds like coyote.
I know cats cover their poo but usually with whatever is near that can be scratched on it. Foxes typically drop their poo in the middle of the trail but don't cover it.
