New Shorty I am finishing up

Here is my third bow I am working on, came in on the short side and I am almost done needs a little finishing to do but she shoots real nice. All Osage, 58" NTN, 7" brace, 62@27. Draw real smooth for a shorty, then again I'm not that tall myself.

Very nice for only your third bow. You could get the outer 1/3 of each limb bending a bit more but you will loose a few pounds if you do. If you like it, leave it as it is.

Pat what would be the best way to do that, scrape only the lower 1/3 ? thanks

I agree with pat, especially the bottom limb i'd scrape the top limb outer third 8 scrapes and the bottom a few more about twelve and shoot it some , but if it's where you want it shoot it a bunch and see how it looks, got a unbraced pic

Sweet!  Looks really good.  Few scrapes as mentioned, but if it's not taking much set, I'd leave it.

So far I am happy it draws smooth to my draw length of 27" I'll scrape slowly the lower thirds and see how she does, shot her all morning and I like that the bow remains rock solid after I release.
Not sure if I would call her fast but she is send the arrow straight on target.

I'll try and get another picture of the bow unbraced, she does have a little set to her and I am wooried that making the tips softer may increase the set.
