To quote David Mims (DCM) "there were some killer bows" in both Self Bow and Backed Bow categories for 2007 Bows of the Year.
I think Chris Glauben's "backed" bow was not only gorgeous but technically the most interesting.  Remember, he used individual interior strips of wood between the back and bellly.  I voted for it, of course.

hi everybody!  -   yesterday chris left home for a vacation with his family, but before he left i talked to him few times telling him his bow might win BOY and he got REALLY excited so i guess i'm fully authorized to say thank you all in his name!
it was my pleasure to take photos of this bow and post them so you all can enjoy some of chris' work! ...well, seems like you did!
a little while back chris purchased a laptop and he should be online some time soon, so BOM might become even harder in the future and hey: ain't that what we all want?!

...oh and in the selfbow category i really didn't care who wins since i found all bows to be well deserved winners of BOM, most with a great story to them (especially cody's bow!!!)
well pappy i voted for the SISTER bow, but hey: congratulations anyway  ;D ;D ;D

In fields of entries as tough (and fine) as these, even outstanding entries can wind up receiving very few votes. In view of this fact all should be extremely happy and the winners  ecstatic. Congratulations to all entrants and especially the winners.

Congratulations to both of you, as well as everyone else with a bow in the running-there wasn't a bow there that wasn't worthy of winning. And thanks for the inspiration; looking at bows like yours makes all of our work better.
