Can poly baling twine be used for bow backing?
Thanks, smoky

Yeaaaaaahhhh, I guess.  But it isn't exactly resistant to stretch and will add a fair amount of weight to the limbs.  That will prove to just slow the bow down.

What is the purpose of backing your bow?
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Rawhide, silk, linen, sinew, hemp, flax(raw linen). Go to your local thrift shop and buy a $2 silk neck tie. Good backing with decoration to boot.  ;)

Mighta played better in your favor if you'da shaved yer legs.   Just sayin'.

Lookin' forward to the photos of the ERC bow, Smokie.  Pretty wood, makes screaming fast bows, and doesn't tolerate sloppy tillering.
