My scales aint great and they say 38# @ 23" but it feels a bit heavier than that.  :)

We'll that's a good thing.  I would pull it to 40 and see where you are.  You'll probably lose a little weight in the shooting in.  But you are close close close.  Just go slow. :) you should post another pic of the unbraced profile.  Id like to see where the set is.

Try the CD test on that last pic... to my mind it confirms what I thought. Right limb just a tad stiff just right of centre.

That cd test is one of the things that has helped me the most to develop an eye for tillering.  I still need the cd but I can pic it up easier and easier.  Del is spot on. :)

I gave it a couple of days to rehydrate then took a little bit off midlimb both sides. I got it back to 28" but its underweight currently pulling 30# @ 28". But to be fair its my 2nd sucessful bow and it shoots pretty nicely! :)

I would see how it reals in the hand with the right limb as the bottom.  Shoot it a bit.  If it reals good with the tiller leave it.  If it's a little uncomfortable adjust the right limb a tad.   :)

C.d any ideas how to get that right limb bending better without removing too much wood?
