They drill a bunch of holes in some knife tangs or a couple bigger holes for skeleton handles. It lightens the tang for better balancing. I think u could make a cool pattern and get rid of quite a bit of weight. Also cut a 45 on the ends where the "barbs" are and u will also lose some

Drilled some holes and bored out the tubes dropped them to 18 grams.

Ed sent me some better metal for the gen 2.

You guys got me worried about the legality of the barbs so I went looking.  Nothing mentions them as far as I can tell.  Pluss they are for sale at the local shop.

Doesn't say anything but that explosive heads are out.
