Invisible trees? No wonder I've never seen them!

Looks like someone tried to kill it with a car at some point and grew back.

There are a hand full of these around my neighborhood. No many of them are straight. When I drive by I can just see bows in there.

it's hard to tell from the pics. Why not ask your neighbors. One of them might know.

LOL, "Hey, do you know what kind of trees these are"? Followed by "Oh, that isn't good, they will be in bad shape here soon, I'll cut them down for you". My wifes Grandpas aunt lives one street over, her late husband built the first home in the neighborhood. I bet she'll know. She is a fun old lady, 94 and still living on her own. Her only issue I know of is she can't carry a gallon of milk anymore, so we pick one up for her whenever we go shopping.

Where are you located?  It could be pecan.  Are the branches opposite or alternate?

Are these compound leaves like in the hickories or ash?

You might have some kind of ornamental ash tree. Check to see if the branches are opposite, this is unique to ash, maple and a couple other trees, but not to the hickories.

With the type of seeds it appears to be green ash. Thank everyone.
