Hichory Silk Back

Hickory 50#@28#68" Backed with 2 layers Silk,Stained with Ritz and Alcohol,Artwork done with Paint Pen
Black Horn Arrow Plate and Rest.
Buckskin Grip.
Flemish String made with B50 Polyester and Served with Red Serving thread.
Finally Finished with amber Shelac.
Full Draw freezing at the Beach.

PK - Very nice.
Weather is a little rougher then usual your way.
That one pic the bellywood almost looks like tiger maple.

Stange I be on the beach in the 30's Shooting arrows in a 20MPH wind, No People Around Just me and My dear friend Margo and her pooch, oh and the Sea Gulls trying to catch Me arrows.
No I was'nt shooting at them.

That does have that tiger effect, Kinda strange for Hickory.

The Day after is when The weather got bad,we were lucky here.
More north got it and southern cal got it, I hope it lightens up by the time it gets to my friends east of me.

Nice bow, Ill take the warm anytime.  ;) We have been getting that same storm since yesterday.  Its kept it fairly warm here. Justin

Hickory seems to be the only wood I can get out here that does me good, It does not break easy.

This Bow I did a month ago, I just made some mods and hope for a chance at BOM,I know there is better out there.
