Trade Bow from WoodbenderDW
« on: August 08, 2014, 04:38:57 pm »
Went out shooting with Lostarrow and WoodbenderDW last night and when we got out to the farm I commented on the fact that DW had brought and abnormally large number of bows with him. We laughed, he handed me one and said something to the order of "I just finished this one up, wanna see how it feels?" Now I was already having some deja-vu from last year when Lostarrow did a similar thing in the same exact spot, when I looked under the grip of this bow I was drawing back and noticed my name. Needless to say I was quite surprised and thrilled. I shot most of the rest of the evening with it and I must say It was quite a joy. Draw is smooth and shoots nice and quiet. Even with my somewhat questionable shooting skills I was able to put an arrow right where I wanted it without much fuss.

In addition to the bow he also made stylish leather & anther quiver and six wood arrows that match the bow. All are very well made and will get plenty of use. Thank you very much Dave!

Very nice tiller.

Nice gift pack, for sure! :P

Outstanding set.  And clearly you're appreciative of it.
