The tiller is off on the right limb. I had problems throughout the process. I posted a lot of photos through the process, and looking back, I wasn't even close until the very end. What I found with the Purple Heart is that it is HARD. It took quite a long time to file in the notches. My dyslexia got the best of me on the serving, as it is backwards, that I can fix. It has very little hand shock, and is shooting well so far. About the next project, I have a nice Osage stave (Thanks Fred Arnold) that I have just finished cleaning up the knots on the back. Thanks for all the kind words. The bow was a learning process, and was a good tool at making me more humble about my skills. There are some design issues, and I feel those are more to blame for the right limb bending different. All I can do is take the lessons learned and not forget them. In the end if nothing else I gained knowledge, and a great respect for those of you who are true craftsman. Plus, I ended up with 2 draw knives, a Farriers Rasp, a Spokeshave, a Sureform rasp, and knowledge that can't be taken away.
