My son was walking past the bow barn at Marshal this year, and Paul asked who that boy was with a fiberglass bow. I told him he was my son, and Paul asked if I would mind if he gave him a bow. Paul told me that this bow was simply not wanting to be an adult bow. He tillered it down to a weight my son could draw and grow into. He changed from a right handed to a left handed bow, finished it, and added a grip and string.
It has meant a lot to my son, and I was thinking it would be cool to see if we can't do something similar in the future for children. I know a number of children that came to Marshall this year and didn't even have a bow, let alone a primitive bow. Something to consider.
