got a new shooting buddy
« on: July 21, 2014, 05:48:52 pm »
So last week my 3 1/2 year old came up to me and asked me when I was going to make her a bow like the girl in "Brave" daddy did for her. For you guys that don't know brave is a newer cartoon movie  where the girl is a expert archer. So last Saturday night I grabbed one from the corner of shame and went to work. Turned out about 44 ntn and maybe 10@15. Leather lace handle and 6 string d 97 string with double serving. Funny I wouldn't even use my b50 on it >:D  1/4" oak dowel arrows w/2" fletching. I tell you what never making a kid bow this light it is still far from a toy. 20" long arrows spit like darts. She shot about 20 arrows and needed some juice and a snack. Hope she continues with it as I'd love to have her out with me :). Thought I'd add a link of her second time shooting

Also left the brace height real high to help with potential slap. Thanks for looking!

Too cute man! That smile tells me she likes her new bow and arrow.
